SILVER CITY WATERWORKS: TERMS of SERVICE
● The Waterworks Site is located at 1805 Little Walnut Road, Silver City, NM 88061
Please check in with Camp Host immediately upon arriving.
● Please let us know in advance if you will be arriving outside of open hours (9am - 8pm) by emailing info@silvercitywaterworks.com
● Parking is limited to a small lot located on the north side of the main Waterworks site. Parking for RVs, vans or oversized vehicles is NOT permitted on the site.
● Cleaning services are NOT provided. Please clean up after yourself and place all trash in provided receptacles. Leave the site and amenities how you found them. Please keep all food in sealed containers to eliminate pest control measures (insects, rodents, etc.).
● The camp kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and limited cookware/utensils. For private events, please email info@silvercitywaterworks.com to book a Site Visit and determine what you will need to provide for your event.
● Consumption of alcohol and cannabis are NOT permitted within Town of Silver City open spaces, including on the Silver City Waterworks Site. For public and private events, Special Dispenser Permits, Public Celebration Permits, and Liquor Licenses are considered by the Town Manager or Town Council and pursuant to the New Mexico Alcoholic Beverage Control Division's Rules, Regulations, and Laws. Please visit the New Mexico Alcoholic Beverages Control Division's website https://www.rld.nm.gov/abc/laws-rules-and-regulations/ to review their instructions and to obtain their forms. ● Smoking tobacco or vaping is NOT permitted indoors or in camping areas - please limit smoking and vaping to designated areas (around fire pits or in picnic areas) and be sure to extinguish cigarettes completely before putting in the trash receptacles.
● Silva Creek Trail is a FLASH FLOOD ZONE: Avoid using the trails along the creek during or after rains as water levels in the creek rise quickly.
PET POLICY:
● Pets are permitted on the site, but not inside any buildings.
● Please dispose of any dog waste by using the provided doggie bag dispensers and trash receptacles.
● Pets must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when on the Waterworks Site. Do NOT leave a tethered animal unattended.
● Good dog behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the site, along with their owners.
● Please be respectful of other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you will be asked to find other accommodations.
● Service animals are always welcome! Leash and aggressive rules still apply.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
1. On your booking confirmation email, there is the option to reschedule your booking to a different day. Please choose this option rather than cancelling your reservation and then rebooking.
2. If you must cancel your campsite reservation, please email info@silvercitywaterworks.com at least 7 DAYS BEFORE your reservation date to receive a full refund.
3. If you need to cancel your event-space reservation, please email info@silvercitywaterworks.com at least 14 DAYS BEFORE your reservation date to receive a full refund.
Cancellation Details:
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
•The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please email info@silvercitywaterworks.com for details.
NONPROFIT POLICY:
Grant County New Mexico nonprofits are exempt from paying to host meetings or events at the Waterworks Site, with the following exceptions:
• If a nonprofit is charging money for an event held at the Waterworks site, the organization must pay the listed reservation fees in full.
• If a nonprofit wishes to book out the entire site and does not want to share the site with paying campers, then the nonprofit is responsible for paying for all campsite rentals for the duration of the booking.
• NOTE: Nonprofits ARE required to pay GRT for all paid reservations.
DURATION OF STAY POLICY:
Campsite reservations are limited to 14 consecutive nights.
LODGER'S TAX:
New Mexico Lodgers Tax (5%) is included in the price of each campsite.
